If only…
Mr. Sec‘s got a link to a write up in the Las Cruces Sun-News which mentions our supposed lack of running backs:
“This is the University of Georgia,” NMSU defensive coordinator Dale Lindsey said. “They probably have three or four standing in the wings that they’re redshirting, all SEC prospects.”
Actually, Coach Lindsey, all our guys left. Dontavius Jackson, Washaun Ealey and Caleb King are all gone. And now Isaiah Crowell, Carlton Thomas, Ken Malcolme and Richard Samuel will miss this game. “Tailback U” or not, I don’t know of any team that can absorb the loss of seven players at running back without a hitch.
Todd Gurley, Keith Marshall, et al… Hope those guys are paying attention.
