It Was A Good Day

Not only did we pick up a verbal commitment from Damian Swann, the number five ranked recruit in the state of Georgia, during the US Army All-American Bowl game, our other commits and prospects played very well, including a 1.5 sack effort from Sterling Bailey and a 3 sack and 1 forced fumble game from Ray Drew.

Oh yeah, on top of that, we beat the number 11 ranked team in the country in basketball. One more time, because I really liked typing that last bit: We beat Kentucky, 77-70. Commercials and other inconsequential bits came through just fine but as soon as anyone went up for a shot, all sorts of video lag occurred. It was a lot like this, actually:

So, yeah, I didn’t really get a chance to enjoy watching the game. No matter, because the outcome is all that matters. It was a good day for the Dawgs. Feels like it’s been a long time since we’ve had one of these. Hopefully, we’ll get word that Uga VIII is responding well to treatment, Coach Fox’s boys continue to makes us all proud and the football team is able to close out National Signing Day with most of our recruiting targets. That way, a good day can lead to a good month, which might finally lead us to a good year. A Year of the Dawg, so to speak.
