Austin Long out of quarantine
As has been reported, offensive lineman Austin Long has missed the last week of practice due to a bout with mono. While he was allowed to attend meetings, Austin was kept well away from the rest of the guys as a safety precaution:
“We’re in the big meeting room, and he’s like 20 rows back,” senior center Ben Jones said. “We’re keeping him quarantined from us. I hope he gets back well, because we could definitely use him out there.”
Well, no longer. Coach Richt revealed today that he expects Austin to be back at practice by August 15th. And a photo uploaded via Twitter by Aaron Murray earlier confirms that the recovering lineman is no longer being kept separate from the others.
What a happy bunch, back together again!
